When does it stop? | YouTube entertainment news
YouTube entertainment video creators who have been in the public eye for years have now had to step down from their official positions on YouTube due to their continued involvement with child pornography.
Last week, it was revealed that former Vice President for Content and Culture Kevin Rose had been a member of the adult-themed YouTube video platform for a number of years, but now that it was reported that he had been using his position to produce child pornography, he was forced to step aside from his role on the site.
It is unclear when the suspension will end for Rose.
YouTube Entertainment News reports that Rose was removed from his official YouTube account for posting a video titled “Why I want to get married”, which featured a child in a compromising position.
“I have always been a supporter of free speech, especially when it comes to children,” Rose said in a statement.
“It is very clear that I have violated my code of conduct and it was my duty to step away from YouTube as soon as possible.”
Rose is no stranger to child pornography and was known to be involved in videos with children.
He was once named a member on the pedophile forum for promoting the sexual abuse of children on the website.
“If you want to know what I do for a living, you should just search ‘Child Porn,'” Rose said.
He is no longer with YouTube and his channel will no longer appear on the video platform.
It remains unclear what will happen to Rose and the other adult-focused video creators that have faced scrutiny from the public.
It was revealed earlier this month that a member had been arrested on child porn charges and that the alleged victim was the son of a prominent YouTube producer.
The child pornography charges were dropped when the alleged suspect was arrested.
