Why do you get upset when you have a bad experience with your boss?
If you get angry with your company’s CEO, the good news is you might have been right about a lot of things, but that’s not the case if you’re a young entrepreneur.
In fact, according to a new survey, millennials are actually the least likely to want to get upset over the company’s top brass.
According to the survey by Experian Research, which polled 1,002 millennial business owners, the average response time for a company’s executive team was more than two weeks.
And while it may seem like the typical response time is much shorter than the average company, it actually is much longer.
The median response time was two weeks for tech-heavy companies, and seven weeks for smaller businesses.
The survey also found that executives often had multiple different duties.
For example, the median response was nearly four weeks for startups, and nearly two weeks from smaller companies.
For millennials, anger and frustration over the CEO is a common issue.
According to the study, the more people you know, the less likely you are to want the job.
For this reason, the research suggests that millennials should work harder and ask for more, and they should feel empowered by having their voices heard.
